WHEN WE ARE OPEN:

Open 7 days from 8am. Last entry by 4.30pm.

The Facility is open every day of the year except Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day.

Recycle Drop-off and Transfer Station may close with short notice due to inclement weather (including strong winds, high temperatures etc.) or emergencies. Please check this website or call the facility on (03) 9747 5902 for updates.

The Melton Recycling Facility (the MRF) consists of three services all at the one convenient location:

• Resale Shop  - the Resale Shop has pre-lovedfurniture, clothing, books, toys, and more for residents to buy at affordable prices. You can also donatehousehold items that are in good condition.
• Recycling Centre - this is where you can drop off items such as paint, batteries, engine oil, cardboard and more for free all year round. Visit the Reycling Centre page for more information.
• Transfer Station - The Transfer Station, sometimes referred to as the Melton Tip, is where household materials and household residual waste go to be transferred to its final destination.
