IGNITE Productions (FReeZA)
Events for young people by young people.
Join our FReeZA Committee to be involved in organising and running youth-based events. Learn the basics of event management.

The Space
Melton's LGBTIQA+ social support group for young people. We share stories and support one another.
Mondays: 4pm to 5.30pm in Melton
Wednesdays: 4pm to 5:30pm in Taylors Hill

Street Soccer
Melton Young Communities in Collaboration with The Big Issue provide a fun and exciting initiative that uses the power of sport to change lives. With provided equipment & supportive staff, during the two-hour sessions, players take part in training and a friendly match. There is no need to have any experience playing soccer, this program caters to all fitness levels and abilities.
Wednesdays: 3.30pm to 5.30pm, Kurunjang Reserve Park, 137-139 Centenary Avenue, Melton, 3337.

Young Women's Leadership Program
Applications of Expression of Interest are now open!
The Young Women’s 8-week Leadership Program aims to provide female identifying individuals with a safe space to learn about leadership and network with like-minded individuals.
The program will provide participants with the opportunity to feel empowered, confident, and comfortable in their school life, professional life, and day to day life.
Registrations are now open for the 2024 program being held from October - December 2024.
Date: Every Wednesday from 16 October to 4 December 2024
Time: 4.30pm – 6pm
Age group: Female identifying young people between the ages of 15-25
Graduation: 11 December 2024
Location: Alternating weekly
Participants must attend a minimum of 5 sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
Melton YAC brings together young people aged 15-25, community representatives and Councillors to discuss local issues.

Youth Holiday Activities: runs during school holidays
A mix of excursions and local based activities for young people age 12 to 25 years.
Activity information will be available in the lead up to the school holidays of each term, with all bookings to be made online at time specified.
