Cultural Rhythms Show Case
Our FReeZA committee is excited to be showcasing local talents at our Cultural Rhythms Show Case event.
This event is an excellent opportunity for young people in the City of Melton to showcase their unique cultures through arts, music, dance, and poetry. Through this event, FReeZA are hoping to provide young people with a space to showcase their unique cultures through the art of performance.
The event will be open to the wide community with performances from young people. The theme will be 'a trip around the globe' where the hosts will guide the audience and storyline of each performance as if the audience is travelling to each cultural destination.
It's a way for us to honour each culture that lives and occupies space within the municipality. It also highlights that our community works and flows in harmony when we appreciate and respect each other on a holistic level.
When: Saturday, 6 July 2024
Where: Melton Community Hall, 238 High Street, Melton
Time: 4.30pm - 9pm
Performance registrations, requirements & categories
Please note: Participants must be aged between 12 to 25 years.
All performances must be culturally appropriate and have a time slot for eight minutes. Options are:

FReeZA Melton are always finding ways to work and engage with young people from the community and surrounding. We are excited to present this first Cultural Rhythms Show Case event and hope that we can do this type of event yearly in the City of Melton.
