My name is Vaosa Toleafoa Poliko. I am from the bahai community of Melton. I was born and raised in New Zealand and Samoa I am Samoan by ethnicity. I'm an educator, I'm also a mum  of five and two grandchildren. I'm happily a member of the bahai fath in Melton and I do acknowledge and really enjoy living here in Melton.

Feeling at home means for me it's bringing your culture and who you are doesn't matter which country you're from but when you come to a particular area or suburb or for example in Melton you bring yourself a complete identity like with your cultural food with your clothing your dancing your music and all that so you bring your family life as well as your culture with you and that's what it means when I leave here I see the diversity of people and how they share their ethnicity food and for example Melton Interfaith as well we come together and we share that common meaning of a sense of belonging.

In the City of Melton I have been in a few activities are happening in Melton for example the harmony day where everybody come and share their not only food music dancing and of course the um indigenous people that we see their cultural um dancing as well so that's what I really appreciate about Melton, it feels like home.
