My name is Sandeep Kaur and I belong to sikh faith. I migrated to Australia a few  ears back and uh I am working as a registered nurse for a few years in the community.

Feeling at home for me means practicing siki which is my faith and engaging in the simron which is remembrance of divine practicing sewak which is selfless uh service uh and working to help others and engaging with the sangat which is the spiritual community that is really important for me and I think that's what feeling at home means to me. So City of Melton gives me a feeling of home especially being a migrant and not missing my home and I have been given given opportunities to practice my religion freely which is obviously of utmost importance to me so I contribute to Melton feeling like home to me by providing my own services to the community so I am very actively engaged in the local community connecting with the neighbors and making relationships and supporting utilizing my nursing skills and wherever people need help I just go and help them especially in the Sikh Temple. Everybody calls me whenever they need first aid or a nurse.

City of Melton is my home your home and it's our home.
