My name is Kylie Spencer I'm a proud Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung woman. So feeling at home for me means being connected to community but also to culture as well so living in Melton I'm very connected to obviously where I live you know I've grown up in the area but for me as well  being on my traditional land of the wurundjerri  people where my ancestors walked many thousands of years ago and having family that now lives in Melton myself is feeling like that connection is is here where you can't leave pretty much.

So the feeling of being home in Melton it's got that Community Vibe but also that country feeling as well where you know you're you're still close to everything but you're you're still home where you know you can walk out you can go for a walk in the park you can go for you know down the street you run into you know friends and family as well and you can have a good time with them.

So my contribution uh to feeling at home in Melton is through my you know my outside of work life you know where I come to the community I support the community you know I engage in programs and services you know attend events as well as also assisting in my work as well um you know where Community might need that assistance with it as well.

The City of Melton my home your home everyone's home
