First of all my name is Gue Athel, I identify as an African and in Australia I call myself African Australian and I am of a South Sudanese heritage. That's where I come from and I identify myself as well as a happy person and a positive with a positive outlook and always very resilient.

A feeling at home for me means feeling welcomed in where you live and feeling part being part of the community and be able to participate in the life of the people within the community and be involved in what is happening. As City of Melton give me a feeling of being home by providing connection with a group that is there is a big group of community that I identify with I contribute to Melton feeling like home in a lot of ways because I participate in programs that engage young people uh such as horse riding such as going for ice skating and many more. I also help the young men of the South Sudanese  background you know to be able to be a good fathers to their children and to be able to bring up the families in a most positive way in Melton.
