I'm Ava Collins I am currently a student and I've been living in Melton my entire life and a couple words I would use to describe myself would be that I'm very determined. I'm very respectful of others in my community and I'd like to say that I'm also very caring of where I am and who I'm with.

Feeling at home means for me that I am have the sense of warmth and that wherever I go I feel secure of where I am and that I'm happy to be surrounded by and what I have and um also experience a self of gratitude towards my community and my home the City of Melton gives me a feeling of being home by the fact that I'm proud to be a part of the community whenever I go out I'm actually really happy to be a part of Melton it's the community is so caring and they bring each other up they don't break each other down and it's a really amazing community to be a part of and that's what it gives me a feeling of home. And a major part of that is being recognized as the young citizen of 2025 it's brought me a lot more opportunities to assist and reach out to the community and that's also given me a lot of like proudness of where I am and who and where I've come from how I contribute is I have been acknowledged multiple times on community notice boards about how spreading my kindness to the community and how I've been able to make a lot of people happy just by using kind words.
