Melton New & Emerging Communities Network

The Melton New & Emerging Communities Network is led by Melton City Council.  It aims to support and connect a range of diverse and rapidly growing communities within the municipality with key service providers and partner agencies.

The Network offers an important forum for community groups, organisations, and service providers to:

  • Identify issues, discuss solutions, and share best practices: The network’s broad representation of organisations and service providers working with new and emerging communities provides an extensive knowledge and experience base to draw upon.
  • Share resources and collaborate: Network members can work together both strategically and operationally to better support new and emerging communities.
  • Promote a learning culture: Through regular network meetings and other communication platforms, members can build and sustain their capacity to better support new and emerging communities.

These efforts aim to build a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment for all residents of the City of Melton.

The MNECN network membership is free and open to any community groups, organisations, service provider or partner agencies that work in the new and emerging communities' space with the City of Melton.
