Playgroups

Playgroups offer opportunities for children from birth until school age to develop and practise new skills, make new friends, gain self-confidence and develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually, while with their parents or carers.

Parents and carers also have opportunities to build friendships with other families within the community and enjoy some time out of the house. During playgroups all families assist with setting up and packing up of the group and behaviour management of their own children.

There are different types of playgroups offered across the City of Melton including community playgroups, activation playgroups and supported playgroups.

Groups run from various locations on different days and times.
