Community playgroups

Community playgroups are set up and run by parents and carers and take place in council buildings, schools and other local venues.

Playgroups offer opportunities for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to develop and practice new skills, make new friends, gain self-confidence and develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.

Parents and carers also make new friends, get out of the house, spend time with their children and create connections within the community.
