Are you looking to connect with a network that supports people with disability? The Melton Service Providers Network (MSPN) is an initiative led by Council to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and enhance services for people with disability.
About MSPN
MSPN provides a platform for local service providers in the Aged and Disability sectors to:
- Share information and resources
- Build partnerships and networks
- Coordinate services and improve referral processes
- Identify opportunities for collaborative service delivery
- Explore funding and joint promotional opportunities
- Advocate for local disability issues and policy changes
- Offer shared training opportunities
Key Areas of Focus
- Collaboration – disability service providers to address local needs
- Networking – Facilitating connections through bi-monthly meetings, online communications, and guest speaker events
- Coordination – Identifying and promoting partnerships that improve service outcomes
- Reflective Practice – Showcasing programs, projects, and initiatives to enhance learning and service delivery
Presenting at MSPN Meetings
Presentations should align with the meeting’s theme and follow one of these formats:
- Collaborative or advocacy projects for members to work on together
- Case studies illustrating lived experiences navigating services
- Capacity-building sessions for service providers
- Awareness discussions on key issues affecting people with disability either globally or locally
