Accessible Voting

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) provides assistance for people living with disability to ensure they are not disadvantaged from participating in the electoral system. The AEC can assist you to enrol, vote and help you find more information. It is compulsory for all eligible Australians to enrol and vote in federal elections and referendums.

Local council elections 2024

The Victorian Electoral Commission’s (VEC) Democracy Ambassador program are available for free education sessions.

Democracy Ambassadors can deliver free information sessions from Friday 14 June to Friday 25 October 2024.
