International Women’s Day

Melton City Council is proud to be supporting International Women’s Day in March each year. International Women’s Day is a global campaign that aims to celebrate and recognise women’s achievements, as well as to act as a central point for action to build support for women’s rights and their full participation in the economy, politics, community and in everyday life.

Stay up to date and join us for many activities we have planned for next year’s International Women’s Day campaign by following Healthy City of Melton Facebook page.

Visit the UNWomen website for information on the historical developments of the campaign as well as information on themes and activities held in previous years.
