Alfred Road roadworks

Alfred Road is undergoing sewer and road works. These works are associated with subdivision developments and undertaken by multiple contractors.

We acknowledge that works on Alfred Road have caused traffic disruptions and inconvenience to residents as these works are being undertaken. 

Phase 1 of Greater Western Water sewer works and major road upgrade works have been completed and Alfred Road has now reopened under traffic management. Works included new drainage, kerb & channel and sealing of road from unsealed rural type.

Some parts of Alfred Road will remain rural standard asphalted road (without kerb and channel, footpaths, bike paths etc) until future development fronts become activated.

Further roadworks will occur in the future and Alfred Road may be required to be closed or operated under traffic management to facilitate further construction. Each traffic management/road closure application will be assessed based on their merits at the time.
