Brookside Recreation Reserve

In 2021, Melton City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government’s Growing Suburbs Fund  delivered an extension and refurbishment to the Brookside Pavilion. The extension and refurbishment caters for growing participation at the Brookside Recreation Reserve and is a welcomed addition to the community.
The upgrade has seen the much-loved facility almost double in social capacity, creating an accessible space where more community activity and greater participation in local sport can take place. It includes a modernised pavilion that has increased capacity from 70 people to 120 people, and upgrades including a large kitchen, increased social space, change room refurbishment including female friendly change rooms, a new meeting room and transformation of the façade.

The project was funded with a $850,000 grant from the Victorian Government through their Growing Suburbs Fund and $686,000 from Melton City Council.
