PAST EXHIBITION

An Exhibition by Julie Zapasa

Tuesday 9 August – Sunday 27 November
2022
• During opening hours • CS Gallery (193-201 Caroline Springs Boulevard, Caroline Springs)

Art, footy and mental health come together in this fantastical exhibition about healthy gender roles. With the help of Jungian psychology, Julie Zapasa plays with diverse expressions of masculine and feminine in artworks that put a creative spin on the symbols and colours of much-loved Australian Football League teams.

Using the footy as a metaphor for the heroic battle of the mind, Julie explores ways in which people can navigate patriarchal conditioning, and ultimately contribute to Team Humanity.
