Urban Birds

Mollie-Rose Hero Image

An exhibition by Mollie-Rose Chislett

Friday 21 June – Monday 30 September 2024

Urban Birds is a sculptural exhibition exploring the impact of urbanisation on animals by local emerging artist Mollie-Rose Chislett.

In this exhibition, Chislett alters objects to raise awareness about urban animals, creating surreal elements that convey deeper messages about the Anthropocene.

The sculptures represent urbanised spaces, urging viewers to reflect on their relationship with nature and perceive animals in urban spaces as beings equal to themselves.
