Get ready for some school holiday fun this summer with everything from water play and science workshops to bubble soccer, surfing, reptile encounters and more!
Melton City Council is set to provide some much-needed relief to parents and a tonne of fun for kids and young people over the coming summer school holiday break.
Primary aged children can have fun at Council’s vacation care program with a variety of activities such as water play, cooking and science and excursions to the movies and the Melbourne Museum.
For those aged 12-25 years, Young Communities have a range of free and low-cost activities on offer. Hit the waves at URBNSURF, enjoy epic water slides at Adventure Park, jump inside a giant inflatable ball and bounce your way around the court in Bubble Soccer, or hang out with pythons, crocodiles and turtles at Reptile Encounters.
Council’s Community Centres will hold a variety of programs and events including a science workshop, pizza making, a marine life incursion, cartooning workshop and more. Check out the Melton Learning Directory to see what is happening.
The libraries also have another jam-packed holiday program with Safari Storytime, Mini Olympics, and STEM challenges just some of the fun and free activities on offer.
