Beat the boredom this school holidays at the City of Melton’s winter vacation care program.

Primary school-aged students can take part in arts and crafts, get creative in the kitchen, dress up as their favourite book character, or show off their skills on a ten-pin bowling excursion.

Melton City Council’s vacation care program runs every weekday from Monday, 1 July to Friday, 12 July.

Children can also celebrate and learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and traditions at a special NAIDOC Week activity day on 5 July.

Days are charged at a flat rate of $89.50, but additional costs for excursions and incursions may apply.

Families may be eligible for subsidised fees by confirming their Child Care Subsidy (CCS) details through their MyGov account.

Each program features diverse activities, inspired by suggestions from children and their families.

All vacation care staff are qualified educators, with many employed in local schools.

Spots for the winter program are now open and will close at 5pm on 21 June.
