If you have a little one ready for 3- or 4-year-old kindergarten in 2026, come and explore your local kindergarten during Melton City Council’s Kindergarten Readiness Month.

Council will hold online information sessions and an open week over the next month to provide parents with information about the registration process and the chance to tour kindergarten facilities.

Online sessions will be held on:

  • Tuesday, 18 February, 6.30pm.
  • Thursday, 20 February, 12.30pm.

Open week will run from 11-13 March. Families are invited to come and explore kindergartens, meet the teachers and ask questions to help decide if it’s the best fit for your child.

Registrations for kindergarten in 2026 will open on Wednesday, 19 March.

It’s also not too late to register for kindergarten in 2025 with some places still available.

To register for the online sessions, or to find out more about the open days and registration process, visit melton.vic.gov.au/kindergarten or call on 9747 7284.
