Have your say on City of Melton’s reserve improvements

Published on 30 August 2024

Melton City Council is improving four recreation reserves across the city – and we want you to have your say on the projects.

The improvements vary across the reserves but include elements such as new play equipment and furniture, natural play elements, shade trees and garden beds, and improved path connections.

Our aim is to create more accessible, comfortable and inviting environments for all users of the reserves.

We want to hear your ideas on the concept plans for each reserve.

The four spaces are Cheshire Avenue Reserve in Melton South, Cranwell Reserve in Caroline Springs, Punjel Drive Reserve in Diggers Rest and Royal Crescent Reserve in Hillside.

Tell us your thoughts online at conversations.melton.vic.gov.au. The consultation period runs until 15 September.

Quotes attributable to City of Melton Mayor Cr Kathy Majdlik

“Having a great space for young people of all ages and abilities to play and interact outdoors plays a vital role in keeping families active and provides important physical and mental health benefits.’’

“Please share your thoughts on the upgrades and help us deliver improved public spaces for the local community.”
