Work Experience & Student Placement Program

Melton City Council believes young people are the bridge to our future. Our work experience and student placement programs provide students with the opportunity to gain valuable organisational experience while preparing them for their future.

As a diverse organisation, we are committed to providing a wide range of work experience options for as many students as practicable.

We have currently introduced a hybrid model of working in which staff are working remotely and on-site intermittently making the Year 10 work experience program / Student placement difficult to facilitate, and as such the programs have been temporarily closed.
