Stan Payne Reserve Upgrade

The Stan Payne Reserve Upgrade saw a portion of the reserve refurbished. 

Melton City Council delivered this project which will be located next to the Diggers Rest train station, the Diggers Rest Bowls Club and along the busy Old Calder Highway that leads into Diggers Rest. 

Upgrades included:

• upgrade of shelter
• upgrade of toilet block
• picnic tables
• drinking fountain
• bluestone path
• improvement of bowls club carpark
• garden beds
• park furniture
• expansive grass area with irrigation
• new tree planting

Construction commenced in mid-January 2020 and was completed in mid-2020.
