Melton Waves

Melton Waves closed its pool hall, change room and toilet facilities from Monday 15 May, so that improvement works could be completed at the centre. The refurbishment was completed on 31 August.

Council installed two high efficiency, low emission boilers to address issues with water temperatures at Melton Waves. Additional improvement works were then scheduled including the replacement of wall and floor tiles in the toilets and change rooms, rust rectification works and improvements to internal garden beds in the pool hall. Maintenance also took place on various plant and equipment at this time.

The gym and group exercise rooms remained open throughout the improvement works.

The cost of the improvement works was approximately $500,000.

Council apologises for any inconvenience during the closure of Melton Waves.
