Kurunjang Tennis Court Upgrade

Project Budget: $674,684.00.

Four of the six tennis courts at Kurunjang Tennis have reached the end of life. While it has been possible to extend court life by undertaking annual remedial patching and filling, this treatment has only lasted approximately 3-5 years. 

Council has committed to the demolition and reconstruction of these four courts.  Further, to ensure courts meet current standards for competition play, all components including fencing, court drainage and lighting will be part of the construction process. 

Construction commenced in July 2020, with the courts available to users in late October 2020.

The Kurunjang Tennis Court upgrade project will provide:

• Construction of four (4) full concrete pavement tennis courts to be surfaced with sand filled artificial grass including line marking on courts.
• Stormwater drainage.
• Tennis lighting system.
• 3.6m tennis court boundary fencing.
