Fraser Street Reserve Redevelopment

Fraser Street Reserve, located along the Toolern Creek in Melton South, is being redeveloped to include picnic facilities, including BBQs, picnic settings, shelter and a water fountain, new playground equipment including a slide, net play, see-saw and swings, opportunities for natural play, additional shade and park seating, improved kick-a-bout space, a dog off leash area and exercise equipment, building on the existing natural features of the reserve.

The reserve has been designed with input from local community members. Please find below the previously undertaken Community Consultation Summary.

In 2015 paths were constructed throughout the reserve and now due to Council being successful in securing support from the State Government through the Growing Suburbs Fund, we are able to deliver the remaining elements of the Master Plan. We anticipate that these works will encourage community members to further utilise the park, be more active, social and be proud of this asset.
