2024 Local Government Council election period

From 12pm Tuesday 17 September 2024, Melton City Council entered into an Election Period (caretaker) prior to the 26 October 2024 Council election.
During the Election Period, we are limited to the types of information we can publish to avoid potential breaches of the Local Government Act 2020.

Diggers Rest Oval Sports Lighting Project

The Diggers Rest Oval 1 Sports Lighting Upgrade project was recently completed.

This $220,000 project included a $100,000 contribution from the Victorian Government through the Country Football Netball Program.

The scope for the project included 4 new 30m sports lighting towers offering 100 lux Australian Rules Football training level lighting.

The project was completed in March 2019 in time for the start of the 2019 football season.
