Ward map and boundaries

The Melton City Council Ward Map(PDF, 1MB) provides a detailed view of the boundaries of the three wards in the City of Melton.

Watts Ward
The northern area of the City including Bonnie Brook, Diggers Rest, Grangefields, Hillside, Plumpton, Taylors Hill, and Toolern Vale

Coburn Ward
The central western region including Brookfield, Cobblebank, Eynesbury, Exford, Harkness, Kurunjang, Melton, Melton South, Melton West, Mount Cottrell (west of Mount Cottrell Road), Parwan, Strathtulloh and Weir Views.

Cambridge Ward
The southern region of the City including Aintree, Burnside, Burnside Heights, Caroline Springs, Deanside, Fieldstone, Fraser Rise, Mount Cottrell (east of Mount Cottrell Road), Ravenhall, Rockbank, Thornhill Park and Truganina.

Please note: the listing of suburbs within each ward above is a guide only as some suburbs may overlap two wards. That is, ward boundaries do not necessarily follow suburb boundaries.

New City of Melton Wards 

The City of Melton will move to a single-councillor ward structure from the October 2024 local government election onwards.

From this election, the City of Melton will move from three wards to 10, each of these 10 wards will have one elected Councillor, these new wards will be:

  2. Cambrian Ward
  3. Coolibah Ward
  4. Hilltop Ward
  5. Jackwood Ward
  6. Lake Caroline Ward
  7. Mount Atkinson Ward
  8. Stringybark Ward
  9. Sugar Gum Ward
  10. Watts Ward
